Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by QCA Mr. Fixit List Service. By visiting our website, submitting an inquiry, requesting an estimate, scheduling work, approving a proposal, making a payment, or allowing our team to perform work, you agree to these Terms and any service-specific estimate, proposal, invoice, work authorization, or written agreement that applies to your project. If a written project agreement conflicts with these Terms, the specific written agreement controls only to the extent of the conflict. If you do not agree, do not use the website or request services.
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on the website. Updated Terms apply to future use and future service requests unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. You are responsible for reviewing the current version. Our website is intended for adults and for lawful use. By requesting service, you represent that you have authority to authorize work at the applicable home, business, or property.
Service Description
QCA Mr. Fixit List Service provides field services that may include appliance installation and repair; siding repair and replacement; junk removal and hauling; fence installation and repair; drywall and painting; deck and patio construction; flooring; electrical services for homes and businesses; gutter cleaning and gutter guard installation; handyman work; plumbing installation and repair; property maintenance; and home inspection services. Available services, service areas, scheduling, pricing, materials, and project scope may vary based on location, site conditions, licensing requirements, availability, and the nature of the request.
Service descriptions and estimates are general and may be based on information available before an in-person evaluation. Hidden damage, code requirements, inaccessible areas, hazardous conditions, changed specifications, weather, material availability, or conditions discovered after work begins may require a revised scope, price, or schedule. We will attempt to communicate material changes and may require approval before proceeding. An appointment or estimate does not guarantee that work can be completed, that a particular material will be available, or that a project will begin by a requested date.
Customers are responsible for timely payment of approved charges, deposits, materials, disposal fees, permits, taxes, special equipment, extra labor, and authorized change orders. Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment is due when invoiced or upon completion. We may pause work, decline additional work, or seek lawful collection remedies for overdue balances. Estimates are not contracts for unlimited labor or materials. Disposal work is subject to legal restrictions, and we may refuse hazardous, prohibited, contaminated, or unsafe items.
User Responsibilities
You must provide accurate contact, billing, property, and project information; provide safe and timely access to the work area; identify known hazards, utility locations, water shutoffs, electrical panels, fragile items, pets, occupants, and relevant property restrictions; remove personal belongings when requested; and obtain any owner, landlord, association, or governmental approvals that are your responsibility. You must keep children, pets, and unauthorized persons away from work areas and follow reasonable safety instructions.
You are responsible for locating or disclosing concealed utilities and for ensuring that existing systems, structures, permits, and property conditions are suitable for the requested work unless a written agreement expressly assigns that responsibility to us. We may stop or reschedule work if conditions are unsafe, unlawful, inaccessible, materially different from the information provided, or likely to cause damage. Do not use the website to submit unlawful, threatening, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or malicious content. You may not interfere with website operation or attempt unauthorized access.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our company and its owners, employees, technicians, contractors, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of use, business interruption, loss of data, diminished property value, or costs arising from delay or inability to use a property. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, ordinary wear, customer-supplied materials, work performed by others, unauthorized changes, failure to follow instructions, or damage caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, utility interruption, supply shortages, or governmental action.
